Back from Taipei!!

hihi.. i'm back from my holiday! hee.. although only 4 days but still very happy! have lots of fun experience in a whole new place out of spore..

need to say i had a hard time finding restrooms.. keke.. cos in taipei only can find restrooms in shopping centres, mrt station and fastfood restaurants! it may seem as if its the same as spore but when you are in more "less developed" area where its less likely to find FFR and shopping centres its really hard to find a toilets.. -.-" even the toilets are found inside the station and not outside the station..

yep.. next is.. hard to find dustbins!! haha.. 1st day i had a hard time trying to throw my empty bubble tea cup.. its hard to find dustbins on the streets.. only can throw in restrooms, FFR bins and shopping centres.. keke.. but its fun to know the difference btw here and taipei..

then i had a great time going to the hotspring, look at flowers in the farm (where many taiwan shows took scene from!! got ge dou tian wang lor!! hehe), buy clothes from ye shi and wu fen pu, eat alot at ye shi, walk and shop in xi men ding, visit the pottery street, went up to taipei 101 (only managed to reach the 91 storey), went to dan shui fisherman's wharf!! the sunset super nice de.. many people there lor.. very sweet to have my first portrait drawing with pigpig there.. hehe.. and really romantic to walk on the "qing ren qiao" aka couple bridge..

i also ate fried chicken, ou wa jian, bigbig ice cream cone, da chang bao xiao chang, ye shi sushi, steamboat etc.. must say its fun to travel on your own to different places on the train.. thanks to pigpig i didnt get lost in the city.. hehe.. afterall, taipei people are friendly who u can always ask for directions and photo taking.. hope to have chance to go back again for more shopping and travelling to other parts of taipei.. 0^-^0

3 years have gone~ cant imagine that time really flies!! didnt know that my years in uni is ending pretty soon.. 6 busy semesters and group projects are all past events.. and i'm 22 now.. opps.. haha.. okie guess its really time to move on to another stage of my life - the adulthood.

currently i'm still packing up all my stuff.. from sec to jc to uni.. had a hard time sorting out things to throw and keep.. then i've counting down to my graduation trip.. next is that hopefully the interview that i have gone to will work out right so i can get on to the workforce smoothly.

i guess i'm pretty looking forward towards working despite the fact that people always comment that its gonna be stressful, boring (esp 9-5 office work), politicking etc.. but i think its just what working life is about.. since its gonna come, we might as well learn to embrace and handle it positively! ^-^ everyday is about the same, its how u think that makes it a good or bad day! jiayou to all my friends who are entering the new stage of life.. take care~

dont know why.. but i suddenly feel that i'm a person who can really do great things (i'm not boasting or something.. hehe..). it's just that i havent met or entered into the subject or area that i'm able to perform. haha.. or does everyone felt the same way as i do??

school is coming to an end soon.. i mean graduation.. and seems like many pple are looking for jobs.. me too.. but didnt really get any offer yet.. in fact i'm looking forward to my graduation trip more than worrying abt getting jobs. not that i'm not afraid of the consequences, but i believe that since i'm going to work for maybe next 2-5 years, i might as well take some time to rest awhile and look for a suitable company.

i know there's no ideal company.. esp. for fresh grads.. but hopefully everyone gets the job they need and settle down well.. =)

IT fair!!

went to IT fair today.. sure was crowded.. i've nv seen so many people in suntec since last countdown during the year 2000. haha..

managed to see the PS3 gaming area and show casing of MS Vista.. but the main crowd was actually in the level 4 and 6!! people are buying printers, laptops, mp3 player and many other gadgets.. phew~ glad to survive among all the products and people..

i'm not sure if this is the first time i've been to an IT fair, but it was really an eye opener.. seen the most no. of digi cam and printers in my life.. haha..

oh ya.. one misfortunate event occurance.. my toe was injured by a lady with high heels! oh man~ stepped right on.. and yeh.. at that moment it was painful.. but when i went home and saw the blood clot.. it's not really pain anymore.. i wonder why??

ate kenny rodgers today.. very yummy!! happy neh~ i love their corn and cheesy marcaroni especially!! yum yum yum! really value for money meal.. 1 main course with 2 side dishes and 1 muffin.. hehe.. happy!

okie.. realised i havent been updating about myself.. decided to spend some time talking about my 22nd birthday.. haha.. actually wanna talk abt CNY also but realised that will take up even more time.. so lets keep it simple..

below are some events i've been through during my birthday~

went to eat souffle at bakenzin.. yummy.. i have tried many of its flavours.. still like the one with coffee best.. hehe.. for those who like little sweet treats must definitely try.. its as soft as chanwamushi (steam egg)!!

and oh my god! this is the best cake i've ever had.. its really nice!! the chocolate mousse cake from jack's place.. pigpig chose for me de.. hehe.. have nv taste such nice chocolate cake be4?! if u like chocolate.. go for it!! yummy.. till now i still cant forget the taste.. the top layer of dark chocolate blends with the mousse and cocoa cake.. ah!!

okie now its abt cedele? not sure if i got the name correct.. its a place flyingpaper recommend for non trans fat food. we ate sandwiches as the pastas are rather ex. haha.. here's a preview~ as for the taste.. hmm.. i think its nice but could have been better.. dont know whether if it's becos its too healthy that it loses some of the great taste and aroma.. =P

now is abt a meal i have at taste of thailand.. for chinese or thai food lovers.. this is definitely a great place to visit.. the dishes are really the lowest pricing i've encountered in a restaurant!! get a place of vege at $3?! their yummy dishes includes the fried sotong, jie lan, cod fish, dou miao, thai sauce chicken! so if you like to spend little but eat alot.. can try this.. can be found in sembawang shopping centre and yishun(near chong pang)..

hehe i've got a new design again.. this time round got lots of food o.. keke.. cos i like eating ye.. want to try out many different food.. realised that when i'm happy and when the food taste good, i tend to eat alot!

just celebrated a great valentine's day, CNY, my birthday!! Got so much to update but didnt really have the urge to post pictures and write abt them unless i'm really free.. haha.. shall see.. cos be4 i could post an entry abt the events, new ones already coming..

cny is coming.. oh my god.. abt 1 month ago i've realised this year cny is pretty close with valentine's and my birthday.. oh man.. all cramp together.. not very happy abt it.. haha.. cos i am a person who looks forward to festives or celebrations constantly.. so it's more fun to me if the holidays are not that "close" to each other.. hehe.. but anyway.. it's been a fact, truth, confirmed calendar.. so.. yep.. i'll still be happy upon receiving the festives.

okok.. i know i'm abit early to talk abt cny.. but.. i'm always a super.. easily get happy and crazy over holiday mood person ya.. haha.. come'on! cos it's only once a year and you wouldnt get to see all the red and hear all the gongxi gongxi on the street everyday right? plus all the yummy tibits.. drool~ =P

then.. yep.. valentine's.. hehe.. another chance for me to prepare something nice for pigpig.. o^-^o

hello.. dear pals!! i know its been pretty long since i last posted.. was being forced by my pal.. guilepig to post asap.. haha.. no la.. she just commented that why so long i nv update..

well.. basically.. sometimes there are too much to write.. so i didnt write.. sometimes there's nothing to write so i dont write.. oh.. i wonder when i shld write right? but.. the above kinda rhymes dont u think so? oh no.. why i'm so crappy now.. haha.. okie.. here comes some new updates..

new sem has started! one of the module called HR Metrics is pretty xiong.. meaning lots of assignments and projects.. then oh took up a lesson that needs Apple Mac com.. oh my.. really kinda shock during first lesson when the class only has 2 pple nv use MAC before.. and thats me and my fren.. hahaha.. but then.. i'm quite impressed with myself in navigating the new gadget.. at least i'm not as panicky as my fren.. opps.. the paper that flys ard u know.. haha.. lets keep her identity confidential.. i didnt know that the apple icon is actually use to log off and off the com.. hmm.. guess must expose myself to more stuff.. if not.. really.. haha..

back from bintan!!

yeah!! didnt know that i still managed to go for vacation during this holi.. hee.. cos at first due to certain events, this vacation may end up in my dreams when i sleep.. keke..

but anyway!! bottoms up for celebration!! yeah~ i went to bintan and i'm back le.. have to say it is a really nice place to go to.. esp when u are going for a short and relax trip to rejuvenate your body and mind. it's just 55mins ferry ride from tenah merah terminal yeh..

about bintan.. it is hot.. haha.. i've been darker by a tone or two, cos of swimming and kayaking there.. yep.. even though i've been darker i still enjoyed the activities there.. cos i've tried something new in my life again.. besides, how many times can you go visit a place, play and try something new in ya whole life?! esp when u are travelling with a special someone.. each seconds, minutes and hours is unique!! haha..

overall, bintan has a beautiful scenery, hot weather, friendly people, nice seafood.. and i have enjoyed the trip.. snapping photos like crazy, eating till i grew heavier, playing till kinda tanned.. but i love it!! =) HAPPIE~

hihi to all.. i know i have been really lagging in terms of posting but hey.. all my posts are quality entries lor.. haha.. so wait once a while is worthwhile k? hehe.. now i shall begin with the description on my one wk recess break..

last friday.. although need to go school.. i'm still very excited.. hehe.. one thing is that holi is coming.. the next thing is i'm going directly for vacation to cameron highlands on that same night!! yeah!! =) keke.. HAPPY yeh.. haha..

the trip was really very fun cos got pigpig accompany me.. we have experienced lotsa stuff together which i really treasured alot.. we went up "drifting" the high mountain at ~1600m above sea level for the whole night and morning.. it took 1.5hrs just to start climbing the mountain to the peaceful town called brinchang town.. oh finally reached the hotel around 9+am.. then started to hop on to a series of tour via shuttle bus.. very fun yeh.. went to rose centre, strawberry park, chrysanthemum farm, agro hydrophonic farm, watercrest valley, bee farm, tea plantation, butterfly farm, night market.. etc.. lotsa place in one day yeh.. hehe.. very enjoying and nice weather lor.. cooling.. but i'm feeling pretty cold.. cos haha.. nv bring jacket.. almost frozen at the night market but heng got my pigpig darling provide fire energy to keep me warm yeh.. hehe.. okie guess i better stop the description here if not it'll take at least 3 entries if i elaborate each attraction one by one.. haha..

okie.. now came back le.. back to reality for projects le.. haiz.. 美好的时光总是过得很快.. dont wanna leave cameron highlands... NO... ya.. so went for first meeting today.. brain cracking one.. but still consider rather productive i think.. yep.. next few days will be HRC chalet, end-note seminar, fyp and other projects stuff.. plus quiz coming also.. maybe study abit.. haiz.. stress yeh.. but heng i got go vacation to recharge abit le.. hehe..

know some friends envy me.. keke.. better dont be cocky.. or esle will be beaten up in school.. hoho.. below are some reflections after the trip yeh..

hey everyone.. sorry that i've not been updating about myself for the past 1 month?? is there 1 month?? i also forgot.. haha.. well have been pretty busy since school started yeh..

all the projects seem to be coming in.. and it is like continuously one lor.. yesterday evening just ended my BH325 case presentation.. phew.. it was pretty smooth and enjoyed the synergy with peishan and jiapei.. haha.. 3 of us really crazy and off lor.. haha.. maybe its stress or maybe its juz us.. haha.. but thanks to the blessing of the ding ding tian wang.. i got the energy to present with confidence.. yeah!! hehe..

let me see what esle i can update.. oh.. its like long time nv go shopping buy things le.. dont know why lei.. didnt feel like buying things.. oh and wanna meet up with jean, liping and xinyi for bday celebrations.. but the dates always cant be settled.. haiz.. wonder when it can be done.. haha.. plus long time nv see peiyun and meet up the princess gang le.. wonder how's everyone doing now..

oh and graduating soon.. school has been sending in lotsa workshops and recruitment talks.. didnt know which one to go.. and all are late timings.. but still managed to sign up 1 or 2.. hope got pple go with me.. oh ya.. that reminds me i got one on monday.. yikes.. haha..

New Semester~

It's been pretty long since i last posted yeh?? haha.. oh well just had the new semester started.. Fun and excited to see my old pals in school again.. At the start of 1st week is really very sian cos there's this busy schedule on trying to add drop on my ge.. yeh.. finally settle down on taking maritime studies.. its really am interesting module.. although overwhelm with info.. i really appreciate the new knowledge learnt abt shipping.. yeah!

oh and although there's exam for it, i wouldnt really mind cos it helps to reduce my timetable from 4 day to 3 day week.. a great difference to someone like me who have to travel long distance to school.. yep.. met and chat up with pple that i dont usually see in HR cohort.. but its pretty interesting to share info and get updated with new pple..

oh very sorry to Rain and some pals who i have spent few time with.. i know i missed some of the gatherings but at least got update with you all on phone or once in a while meeting.. Li ping we will get yr bday present asap one.. and xinyi.. yr bday celebration will be one full of yummy food k?? haha.. and Rain.. meet up around yishun area yeh? we live so near sure can one right?? okok.. have to go do homework now le.. later still have to feed the pig with porridge.. hehe..

Oh have to mentioned that i saw the fireworks last week!! Very nice and amazed by the new designs and patterns that fireworks nowadays can create... falling stars.. blooming flowers.. many bright and colourful fireworks brightens up my day yeah!! and of course although there's so many pple ard, i still enjoy the night.. its the person that is with you at that special moment which makes the firework extra beautiful~ =) cheers to all and take good care my pals!!

It's been really quite some time since my last posting.. haha.. finally the 10 wks PA has come to an end.. i guess for most pple the last week is kinda free and easy but for me and gui xian ren.. is abit easy, plus hectic, plus healthy?!

hehehe.. basically for the last week we have made salad on 2 days for some colleagues.. i made the hard boiled eggs and gui xian ren plus old lam pig made the potatoes.. and of course added the freshy vege from carrefour with bread crumbs and bacon bits.. YUMMY!! its really very delicious i can tell u.. cos its a joint effort!!

then gui and i went to buy some farewell gifts for our frens in the co. and of course walking around the area so as to bid farewell to those who we have encountered and met during our PA.. being an emo person.. of course feeling very the "yi yi bu she".. but there's an old saying: "tian xia wu bu san zhi yan xi".. so have to brace ourselves forward to the future.. yep..

i'll miss the frens and colleagues i have met there.. great memories in the equipment room and pantry of course!! and also the trips in combing restaurants in marina and suntec.. yeah!

now have to start to write PA report already.. abit sian.. but hope to do a good job and finish asap to enjoy the rest of the holi!!

Wah.. busy week i can predict.. haha.. actually this post is to be made next week but i decided to post in advance..

i can foresee the busy week i have for next week!! basically most of the project tasks at work will be completed by next week meaning date dues are coming near.. and of course together with the tight schedule to do fyp stuff also.. plus the leisure after work also.. haha.. i guess many things are piling up yeh.. so hope to work extra fast and effective next week!!

oh.. almost forgot.. have to say a very big belated HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my dearest pal ah yun aka rain.. haha.. hope u have fun with us despite the fact that we only ate a simple meal.. but i guess its about the thoughts that counts and the meeting up of old frens that spice up the outing!! i have to announce that i'm broke.. haha.. cos i have been eating in restaurants for the past few weeks?!! i think i have almost completed the first level of suntec around the fountain.. yeah.. despite the fact that sometimes its expensive, i think its quite worth the money afterall.. cos i get to eat nice food and also of course can spend some relax and fun times with colleagues.

but.. think i need to control.. cos i put on weight le.. and of course have to exercise more i know.. but i didnt really have the time unless its weekends.. and oh.. one more reason to be broke.. cos i have been watching many movies too!! haha..

met up with flying paper and ah lim tonight.. had fun eating dinner with them.. took some pics.. waiting for flyingpaper to send me.. and she's not here yet.. aiyo.. updated on each other's PA situation.. pretty interesting.. oh flying paper was saying that she doesnt like it and wanna end it asap.. but i tend to enjoy it lei.. and hope it doesnt ends so fast.. haha.. kinda different working situations ba!! oh saw kaven along the way home too at citylink.. so qiao.. haha..

yesterday night went for dinner with del and kaven.. wah liew.. kinda suan by them lor.. esp kaven.. i think he seriously got suppressed too much in his office for the past 5 days lor.. release all his stress on me right? haha..

very amazed by his in-prompto-ness.. can start to talk non-stop with just a single topic.. no wonder u are in marketing.. guess u are in the right specialization yeh?? haha.. oh and nice white spec u have there.. looks cool yeh~

went to the suntec sky garden tonight.. the scenery is very nice.. second time visited the place but first time at night..

maybe its after the rain.. floor is wet.. but yeh.. still manage to find good spots to sit down.. haha.. saw the buildings with lightings and also suntec wealth fountain plus my workplace tower and a few stars on the sky.. saw a plane that past by and 2 strange flying objects in the sky.. haha.. very colourful.. wonder what it is..

big blue black!!

haiz.. have to say i'm sad.. cos i have a big blue black on my leg lor.. and its really big lor.. cos i fell down from the bicycle at eastcoast last sunday.. ouch!! didnt know it can be so serious until.. eh.. haha..

then.. besides that i also had a cut on my right leg.. yeh.. pain also.. and.. 2 cuts on the fingers and of course bum is painful.. and of course muscle ache on both hands.. didnt know learning bicycle can be so the.. i guess this is the learning attempt that i fell most seriously..

have eaten lotsa nice food that evening.. at bedok blk 511.. must say the food pretty good neh.. yalor.. hmm.. hope my leg heal very very soon.. pray hard.. cos my injuries always took years.. and haiz.. pray hard!!

ate la mian and vege yesterday at crystal jade in suntec.. yep went with the gui xian ren and master kok.. haha.. oh well had a great dinner to end the week of work.. have to mention again.. time is passing by really fast.. i'll be left with 5 wks of PA to go..

although i've been feeling unwell for the past few days.. i think i still cant resist the temptation of eating the zha jiang la mian.. spicy yet yummy.. haha.. yeh.. and i think today.. i've been really heaty.. my nose is blocked but yet there'll be occasional running nose.. hmm.. i wonder what sickness i'm suffering??

Hope that i can get well pretty soon so that i can work better and also dont look so shag in office le.. yep.. currenly having a donald duck voice.. funny.. haha..

tml going over to gui xian ren's place and then maybe to eastcoast for cycling?! hope it doesnt rain and things can go as planned.. shall update asap on tml's trip..

It's week 3 le.. I must really say that time flies!! haha.. still can remember abt the first day where butterflies are in the stomach, awaiting something new and yet worried that it's gonna be difficult..

However, yeh.. haha.. it's already week 3!! have to say enjoyed the stay in the co. becos of the funny people met there.. and the just nice workload.. but i think i can foresee the use of sleeping bag for the following weeks!! hope everything goes fine with enough time for me to rest and recharge and to get back to work each week.. hehe..

hmm.. nothing much to update le.. but yeah.. happy lor.. haha.. =)

yeah~ it's the first time that i've reached home so early!! very happy.. haha.. but then actually reach home early also sian.. cos no good show to watch until the variety shows come up..

today didnt do much stuff after lunch hours.. so i guess is reading materials again and of course after lunch have some chat also.. abt cars.. football.. schools.. da vinci code.. human behaviours.. etc.. haha..

yeh.. abt school.. remind me of my young days in primary.. miss the time when i'm still running ard playing games w/o much worries.. but now.. lotsa different things to cope with and when reality of the big world is waiting for me.. yep.. and also.. remind me abt my dilemmas.. and the ambition to study chinese in nus and be a chinese teacher GTO!! but i guess.. past is past.. future awaits my building.. so i guess have to step forward and throw behind those regrets and stuffs..

was looking forward to new tasks today.. but.. cos my supervisor quite busy so have to wait till tml then she will assign us with the tasks.. so basically today just read materials and did some revised work on past assignment..

oh.. today i ate pasta mania at suntec.. yummy.. long time nv eat le.. and one fun thing.. battle among me, crystal, and uncle lam.. we played "daytona"- the racing game- in arcade after lunch while our colleagues played the photo hunt.. got 2nd in the race.. haiz.. lost to that uncle only by abit lor.. so "bu fu qi"!! haha..

oh.. and i think i "suan" uncle lam too much today.. opps.. i think my suan-ing power improved alot lei!! haha.. 1st time got person said he felt like hitting me.. hahaha.. think i better be more reserved.. bought muffins today too.. like the chocolate one.. then left 2 in the fridge in the pantry.. haha.. shall eat tml!!

People Mountain People Sea~!! Vesak Day and Poseidon~

It's Vesak Day yesterday!! Went to bugis to meet my mum in the noon.. wow there's sure a whole lots of pple there.. felt like sadines in the can when i'm on the road, in the shopping center, on the train!! haha.. i wonder if orchard is similar??

anyway, have to apologise to the gang of princess 8 cos i cant attend flyingpaper's bday celebration dinner.. but heng ah i managed to attend her surprise party last time round so still not that bad right?? hehe.. hope all of u have fun yesterday!

oh ya.. after shopping, met up with the rest of the family at marina square for movie- Poseidon. Must say that it's definitely a good thriller!! it's been really a long time since i got nervous over dangerous and heart-stirring scenes.. my mum has been holding on tight to my arms throughout the film lor.. haha.. and we are like.. "ah.." "oh no.." "quick.." "how.." all the way lor.. haha.. cos really hope the passengers can escape the ship successfully although some died along the journey.. haiz...

Amidst the movie felt kinda sad too~ cos can feel the pain in losing love ones in the disaster.. and how selfish human can become in face of tight situation.. a film full of excitment, portraying human's helplessness against the natural disaster and dilemma in sacrifice for own's survival.. recommend this movie to ya all.. although i feel that the ending seems kinda abrupt.. but on the whole still very nice.. oh ya saw the lead singer of Black Eye Peas inside too.. haha..

End of 1st Week of PA

can't imgaine time really pass that fast.. it's already 1 week since i have joined the co.

i must say the pple there are super nice.. very motherly.. fatherly.. brotherly.. sisterly.. haha.. what i wanna say is that they are very patient in giving us guidance and really nice to keep us involve in possible projects.. oh this wk i also did voice recording.. super fun!! hehehe..

although the trip to the co. can be leg-pain experience.. but i guess it's all worth it.. and now that i have changed to a better shoe it's really not that bad liao~ yeah!!

the job assigned are pretty interesting and look forward to the next few weeks!! and yep know alot of new frens there.. esp a mei mei call eunice.. haha.. funny gal who adds in lotsa fun for the dept.. and of course a new uncle on the list call lam~ then many many colleagues also!! and oh accompany from crystal also helps alot too~ ^-^

Yep.. finally i got the energy to come in and write something on PA..

1st day is definitely a painful one.. my court shoes hurt my feet.. boo hoo.. if u think i am just whining.. i am not!! i am really tearing in pain lor.. cos i cant find any seats in the morning and evening.. 32mins to and fro standing is really tough for me lor.. and imagine.. walking citylink all the way to millenia walk.. boo hoo!! very very very pain~

reached the company early.. realised that besides me and crystal, there are also 2 other attachment students from NUS.. from engine one.. and guess wat~ wat a coincidence that one of them is kaven's fren lor!!?? wah liew.. same school same "kuan" of pple lor -_- opps..

then people here are very friendly.. maybe becos of the relaxing working culture here.. yep.. got a lunch break of abt 1hr and 45 mins.. enough for one to go shopping..

didnt do much stuff today.. just given briefing and materials to be read.. realised that things are not as easy as i thought.. guess work is gonna get more complicated as time goes by.. so.. prepare to see "no post" cos i'm too shag to come and post or "many post" cos too stress must come in to release my stress..

to end.. my 小腿muscle super tight.. pain.. NOW!! cos.. stand all the way again... and its really very "suan".. not exaggerating!! haiz =(

now then i know wats the commotion about when people started talking about Da Vinci Code.. used to think that it's just another interesting story but i guess it's more than just a book!

oh forgot to mention.. haha.. currently in my aunty's place.. yep.. then took Da Vinci Code from her shelf.. speed reading for a few chapters in the noon.. realised the conspiracy theories put forth in the book really contributed to the debates about myth and truth..

wow.. i guess the movie will be one big thriller with suspense.. hmm.. must definitely go and watch.. and it opens on 18th May.. about a week from now!! yeah!!

oh and also X-men: The last stand also showing on 25th May.. wah.. great movies coming along.. 好想看哦！！

oh ya.. PA starts this coming monday.. 1 and 0.5 days more.. haha.. have to report at 830am to my supervisor.. hope that i'll have a wonderful experience!! and good luck to everyone starting work on monday too!! remember to jio me for movies and shopping and etc.. stay in contact yeah! ^-^

here's the 2nd part to the earlier post..

after the party, met up with ling'er, kw and del for dinner.. yes of course i didnt have any spaces left for dinner but still ate the teriyaki chicken.. and yeah.. ling'er ate so slowly that kw and del ended up eating her tofu?! opps.. haha.. wat were u thinking?

then went to PS and saw an interesting washing basin... with real fishes swimming around?! haha.. pretty good idea but.. poor fishes.. then ate gelara waffles and ice cream.. yummy very nice lor!

ok now is the movie review.. after dessert was the MI:3.. once again thanks to del to book the seats.. and yep was fascinated by the high-tech gadgets in part 3.. it's mission impossible wat u expect right? haha.. basically the plot was pretty good which i shall not elaborate cos i think many havent watched it yet..

there's bits and pieces of humour in it.. kinship.. and of course lotsa action stuffs.. oh one lesson i've learnt from the movie: never let your enemies know your name!! and always ask your comrades to call your nickname.. haha.. for those who are blur.. watch the movie and u will know wat i mean!! movie ended ard 11 plus i think..

okie.. thought i was going home to rest after waking up at 7am in the morning!! but.. due to some "k box maniac" which i shall not mention who it is.. haha.. drag us to kbox lor~ oh man.. cant imagine i actually join them.. haha.. anyway it's still ok with 2 harmless creatures around.. =P

tried sleeping inside the room but.. yeah.. with 2 persons who occasionally sound like guys and sometime gals?! i wouldnt be able to slp in peace lor~ haha.. pretty amazed by them.. cos they dont follow the lyrics one.. keke.. and del can sing continuously for like 6hrs? oh my god!! it's his mini concert lor.. we ended up as his mini fans.. diaoz~

it was more of a laughing session.. haha.. at least for me la~ can just laugh the whole night listening to them.. oh, a night full of shivering too.. cold ah~ and no jacket somemore.. on the whole, sleepy and tiring but thanks to del's never ending voice (really! it's continuous!!) and kw's occasionally "ga jiao-ing" plus the massage.. i manage to survive till 6am!! that was when i finally get to take the train and went home.. yeah.. 24hrs not closing my eyes.. truly fun and eventful day~!

Surprise Birthday Party!!

okie.. it's going to be a long story.. so i shall separate it into 2 posts.. haha..

yeah.. went to feifei's bday party at the Mind Cafe at boat quay!! it's really a great success as she really didnt expect us to be there.. yep.. rhys blind folded her and brought her up to the cafe where all of us stand-by with a "SURPRISE!".. keke.. yep she was pretty shocked but very happy too!!

the party was special cos most of us didnt really visit places like that.. where u can play boardgames and eat at the same time.. yep.. there was alot of food.. like fried chicken, fried dumplings, wings, sotong balls, tako pachi, etc.. yeh.. all oily stuff and need to curb the takings.. haha.. but in the end still ended up with no space for dinner?! =P

oh we played quite a number of fun games there.. cant forget how eveyone gets so excited over the jurassic something game.. haha.. screams and shouts.. oh man.. this works similarly to heart attack but much more cunning one.. keke.. cos there's an extra part with "bone snatching"!! everyone totally lost their voices lor!! cough cough~

finally.. it was all the gifts that made the gals so envy?! haha.. yeh.. cos rhys really made an effort in preparing all the stuffs.. lets start from the presents.. a limited edition doggy backlight baby-G watch, 2 tix to JJ Lin's concert (most ex seats somemore!!) .. and of course the expense of the party plus the swensen ice cream cake plus powerpoint slides and videos..

hope feifei enjoyed herself yesterday~ and hereby i shall represent the 8 princesses to wish you a very happy 21st birthday.. haha.. good luck and best wishes hor! now we shall move on to the pics!!

just finished reading up another chapter of the accounting textbook.. my back aches cos i've been sitting too long i guess..

went out of my room to get a cup of warm water.. felt the cold wind blowing from the kitchen.. then i went to the balcony with the drink.. dont know why.. juz felt like standing at the balcony for awhile..

i can feel the wind blowing to my face.. due to the heavy downpour just now.. it's cold.. saw the streets below and the fields infront.. i can only hear crikets in the fields.. and few cars that drove past the streets.. no one is passing on the walk way.. only one who is crossing the road..

the lamp posts are bright.. in orange.. a sudden feel of lonesome caught me as i stare blankly on the late night streets.. it's been quite sometime since i last had this type of feeling.. i guess it's 触景生情..

小叶 -- 18岁，女，绅西高中学生
胜枫 -- 18 岁，男，启川高中学生

捷运上充满了人潮，真是拥挤！没办法，不论是上班族还是学生总是要上班上学吧！谁叫捷运是大家的交通工具呢？

“高雄站抵达。。” 小叶听到广播后，立刻冲出人群，挤出列车。
“啪！啪！” 书包及一堆课本撒落在地。

“喂！你是没长眼睛还是睡不醒啊？书包和本子都被你弄掉了。” 年轻的小伙子大声说到。

“ 。。。” 小叶没回应，但脸上却深表歉意。

她看了看少年，校服上写着启川高中。再看看自己的手表，已经8点半！！就快迟到了。。拾起了包包和书本，急急忙忙离去。

“喂！真没礼貌，倒谦也没有。我胜枫才不跟你计较！”少年向小叶喊去，再走进捷运。

当天晚上在聊天室里：
帅胜：今天真倒霉！被老师骂了一顿。
叶子：我也是迟到了。
帅胜：我忘了带课本，因为一个冒失的女生把我的书弄丢了。老师怎么可以骂我，真不懂得怜香惜玉！=（

这时小叶开始在想：帅胜可能是今天早上那个男生。。有那么巧吗？？

叶子：怜香惜玉？？哈哈。。你又不是女生。。^-^
帅胜：哈哈。。随便啦。。叶子何时会落下与树下的帅胜见面呢？=P

这一天晚上小叶和胜枫约在台北市广场前的草场。胜枫很期待，因为他早在一年前在和小叶聊天时就喜欢上她了，只是没勇气开口约她见面。

远远看到一个穿着白色小洋装的女生走来，感觉很熟悉。。顿时间胜枫才发现捷运的女生竟然是叶子！！小叶看到胜枫惊讶的表情，递了张纸给他。。上面写着：

“你好！我知道你不会喜欢我，因为我就是那冒失鬼。此外，我和别人不一样。因为我不能说话。。但我想让你知道。。我其实有点喜欢你。。希望我们至少能做个朋友。” 胜枫并没有回应。

这时，小叶正要转身离开。。胜枫竟从后头抱住了小叶！

Kavi's party!!

Yep.. went to kavi's party yesterday night!! the indian food was really great lor.. and i really ate alot too.. cham ah.. think i need to do extra exercises just to get rid of whatever fats or weights i may gain.. touch wood.. haha..

it's really an experience of a different culture yesterday when we saw how kavi's cousin and relatives celebrated her 21st birthday.. they have prepared dance and instrument performances just for her!! wow.. really felt that sense of strong family bondings that ties the whole big family together.. how i wish i have that too.. hmm..

everyone was very "high" too.. haha... cos they have danced almost throughout the party?! and ya.. due to my super full condition after having 3 servings.. opps.. haha.. me, flying paper and ah lim.. didnt really dance..

one happy comment from flying paper cos she said i didnt look as if i have gained weight but actually i did in this mugging period.. haha.. anyway.. had fun by eating great food, meeting up with pals, and sharing thoughts with flying paper.. and suffer alot when she tried to dig my "forbidden info" haha.. =P

Yeah!! Felt so good after a morning jog at the park below my house!! Yup.. =) got a sense of fulfilment too.. keke.. becos i ran for 3km!! Wow.. can remember that i used to hate the 2.4km run in JC times.. hehe.. former Ajcians.. u know what i mean right?? haha..

But!! Surprisingly, i was pretty determined to wake up early today and went jogging around 8.30am.. yep.. and i realised my stamina has improved!! must be stamina improved ever since i started playing badminton with jean and xinyi.. Used to can't "ta han" when i ran ard AJC last time.. haha.. and also a month ago when i ran downstairs.. very tiring lor.. haha..

but today i can 脸不红气不喘 lei.. and ran continuously for 3km lor.. haha.. so proud ^-^ *a clap for myself* okie la.. have to admit got a bit 喘 .. haha.. just in case some of u think i am too over-excited over my 3km achievement.. haha.. but it's pretty good for me le.. i am a sprinter not a long distance runner lor.. alot of memories came back when i was jogging in the park also..

still can remember when i was in ATS.. tough trainings for the altheletes.. but miss those times when we can always occupied the whole stadium and racing against the wind~ wah!! very shiok lor! haha.. opps.. i think as a gal it's not very nice to use that word right?? haha.. =P

Being one of the "used to be" top 16th national runner.. *proud* haha.. i think that's what kept me going at the 3km run.. keke.. (i know many of you wouldnt believe abt the top 16th thingy; but it's true!! haha.. so disappointed that i didnt get into the finals.. haiz.. that was the time when i finally realised what it meant by 一山还有一山高.. =P anyway shall show u all my trophies someday!! though it's collecting dust now?! keke..)

anyway, was eating at sun plaza for lunch.. and realised that there are many pretty gals around, but few dashing guys.. haha.. juz a simple thought that passed through my mind..

however, juz when i was browsing some of my frenz's friends profiles in "Friendster".. oh my god.. it's really true that on our island there are many beauties lor~ threat to non beauties lei~ haha.. now this gives me an answer as to why Rain and i are still single liao.. wahahaha~

the explaination is as follows.. may seem logical but sounds like crap too.. haha..

Reason 1: too many beauties, both dashies and non-dashies are attracted to them.
Reason 2: too bad.. i and Rain are not beauties.. (not our fault right?? haha ) =P

about a year ago, i have wrote about a short chinese story using sms.. several friends received it and some gave pretty positive comments.. haha.. today i feel like posting this story again in my blog. due to the fact that i dont have a super brain that can remember the exact wordings of the sms, i have amended some portion of the story and add new lines to it.. yep.. hope all of you can enjoy it..

《雨。泪。桥》

我，一个普通的上班族，每天早晨都必须到公司报道，生活乏味。每个早上都得经过一座行人天桥才能上班去，桥上也永远都是人挤人的状态。

一天，当我拖着沉重的脚步去上班时，看见了他。这偶然的际遇，让我以往的每一天都期待着到天桥上，为了就是常遇见他。

某一天，天不作美，突然下起了大雨。没有带伞的我，狼狈不堪地在桥上快步地行走。因为大家都撑着伞，所以今天桥上也变得比平日更加拥挤。

不知是福是祸，他正像我迎面走来。想到自己现在落汤鸡的样子被他瞧见，我心里真不是滋味。当他与我擦肩而过时，我们的距离就只有0.05公分。。。看着他专注的眼神，时间顿时静止。

“嗨，你需要伞吗？这借你。”
“咦？？我。。。”

我还没来得及反应，他就把伞递给了我，匆忙地离去了。

隔天，我很开心的到行人天桥上，希望能当面把伞还给他。望着桥的另一端，仿佛看见他走来。现在的我，心情七上八下的，很紧张。

当他离我越来越近时，才发现他牵着一位和他年龄相近的女生，脸上充满了幸福。他似乎察觉我的存在，和我对望了一眼，面带微笑点了点头。在我还没来得及把伞还给他时就走了。

现在才发现原来可以用华语来写出我的心情。哈哈，早知道我就用华语了。因为这样我比较能表达心里的感受。但是发现这样会很慢，因为我们的键盘和台湾的毕竟不一样，所以英语会比较快一些。

考试要到了，大家都在埋头苦干。这一次的我并不像以前那么用功了。因为这一次心中被不少事情困惑着。也许是我自己自讨没趣吧。。

为了让自己能够多专心一点，我试着忘记，也多和好友沟通，希望她能给我一些建议。哈哈，果然心情好过一些。

好了，现在也蛮迟了，我还是立刻去读书吧。不然又赶不上进度了。。

went to have dinner with ah yun aka Rain at causeway point just now.. haha.. its really great to spend sometime with her becos it helps to release stress by talking to a friend besides burying myself with books.. haha..

ate something nice and very happy now.. haha.. didnt realise causeway food court got so many nice stuffs.. had a hard time chosing what to eat.. yummy.. hehe.. oh also ate one ice cream cone after dinner!! yeah!! i love ice cream =P

chatted with Rain about my.. er.. some "forbidden info".. haha.. oh well.. really got lotsa encouragement from her.. thanks pal!! although she kept on telling me to.. but i still didnt have much preparation for it.. i guess i'll let fate carry me along this time round again.. or i may not?? haha.. guess some of you may be blurred by now becos of all the ... haha.. told u its "forbidden info"..

yep.. suddenly feel like making a post.. haha.. just came home from school after the PA talk.. haiz.. actually was quite excited about PA until the speaker made it sound so scary.. aiyoyo.. dresscode.. PA report and stuffs..

one unlucky event: forgot to bring my ez-link card out today!!!!!! have to buy standard tickets and use coins for bus rides.. really troublesome and cost alot!! haha.. guess this shows the over reliance of humans on advanced tech.. hehe.. no card means no travelling.. haha..

oh ya.. have a waffle before coming back.. thanks to flyingpaper and her barney.. intro me to this nice waffle.. and thanks barney for all the "cold" jokes along the way.. -_-"

after much crapping session with barney and flyingpaper on train, i've got a new thought about friendship.. haha.. i realised it doesnt really matters how long you have known a friend that decides on how familiar you are to him/her.. its really that "mo qi" which decides whether people can get along with each other well.. yup.. some frens even if you have known them for years, they will always remain as hi-bye frens or normal frens.. but for some people, even if u juz get to know them for awhile, u tend to feel as if u have known that person for quite some years.. haha.. i wonder if anyone really understands what i've mentioned above.. =P

just came out from bath.. was combing my hair.. then i suddenly feel like looking at myself for an extra moment.. and a thought went through my mind.. am i not good looking?? haha.. just came to think of it, i realised that at the age of 21 i didnt get into any relationships before.. so is it because of my look or is it becos of my personality? am i a bad person?? haha.. doubts jus went through my head..

besides that, recently ask quite a no. of frens this:" do u believe that no1 ever court me before?" and guess what, all of them said they wouldnt believe it.. oh well.. should i be glad becos that means they proved that there's nothing wrong with my looks or personality.. haha.. i dont know... i only know that it's the truth that no1 ever court me be4 and my life is pretty sian.. haha.. and i am always match making pple to spice up my life... yep..

but i think it cant be that i have high standards in searching for my white horse prince.. although i and ah yun are in the "wai mao xie hui club".. but we all know that we dont really care about looks.. haha.. at least that is true for me.. as for ah yun..eh.. haha.. for my very close pals.. u shld have known that i dont go for looks, dont go for $.. i only hope to find someone with a kind heart, humorous, caring and no smoking!! haha.. its really simple criterias.. but i guess maybe fate didnt want to let me meet my future husband that soon..

and i think god doesnt want me to get into relationships for the past 21 years becos it probably knows that i am someone who will go really an extra mile for whoever i may love... and maybe even more miles compared to a normal person may do.. i have to say whoever is being admired or liked by me is sure very "xinfu".. hehe.. anyway, maybe its becos of this that god wants me to love myself for the time being and deliver extra love to my family and frens around me..

Yeah!! I am able to announce that i have officially cleared off my projects and presentations today!! Haha.. guess it's coming to the end of the semester again.. i'm kinda having a mixed feeling.. maybe because i am happy that finally all things are done yet exams are also coming near.. sianz..

Anyway, juz wanna say today's presentation is a great success.. both 225 and 227 are on time!! and i guess its really due to the group rehearsal and cohesion.. hmm.. suddenly feel like missing my team mates.. keke.. anyway, guess there'll be a chance for us to work again? esp when we are in the same major.. so i guess.. nothing is impossible!! hehe.. wish everyone luck in preparation of exams!!

just finished work.. now writing a new post.. cough cough.. yesh.. my sickness has not fully recovered yet.. i wonder how long it will take.. but i know its getting better each day.. yuppie..

just went dinner with the princess 8 last friday.. it was... super tiring.. especially when i was sick and coughing all the way till my heart aches.. haiz.. oh and i ate pasta that night.. ended up in V8 instead of BB... and drank a full cup of fresh orange juice.. yummy.. and ate some bits of oreo cheese cake and a chocolate cake.. cos i cant really take food that are heaty..

yup.. ah goh got her blazer and chewy got a nice bag from mphosis.. think they are happy with the presents.. i hope so .. haha.. we took such a long time locating chewy's stuff.. and my legs ached!! haha.. so now i still have 3 more bday celebrations to go.. hope i get well soon so that i can eat better food next time round.. =)

i am currently coughing as i write my postings.. i just finished a serious proof reading.. a very scary one.. that make me spent 3hrs!! i think i really need alot of rest so that i can be fully recuperated from my current sickness lor..

yep.. just watched the big mama house 2 with shihui and weiling today.. had a good laugh in the cinema.. definitely a different "feel" from watching FD3 where everyone is tense up and nervous.. haha..

anyway, the show is really funny and one important take away for me is that family are very important. never take them for granted and always should spend time in understanding what they are thinking.. i also felt that its really important for family to communicate and participate in activities to strengthen the bonds that are always there.. keke.. feel touched towards the end of the show..

yup.. and i ate Lai Lai chao siew rice for lunch.. yummy.. but i guess maybe the chicken or duck rice will taste better.. guess i'll try next time.. and one more thing.. i may not have time to blog for the next few wks i guess as many of the reports are dueing.. is there such a word call "dueing"? haha..

Yesterday night just went to watch FD3 with my two new jie mei.. haha.. had lotsa fun in laughing at them.. can't imagine guys also bicker with one another and debate over things that happeded many months ago.. haha.. and i get to know why them always like to talk abt gals too.. hmm.. fascinating.. haha..

Anyway, just a review of the movie.. It's more or less the same plot as the 1st and 2nd one.. just that the scenes of how people passed away differs.. yup.. i thought it would be scary because feifei was saying that it was gruesome and terrifying.. after watching i realised that it is more towards gross rather than scary.. yup.. and again felt that life can be really vulnerable.. yep.. so must live life to the fullest!!

And oh..jie mei were waiting for me to scream or something in the cinema.. but.. haha.. i was feeling more sleepy than scare due to the fact that the seats are nice and very comfortable and had school for half a day?? its tiring ok.. haha.. nevertheless still managed to see the whole show.. and thanks once again to the jie mei.. haha..

My Birthday Celebrations and Thoughts For the Recess Week!!

It's been really a long time since i last posted.. haha.. now i decided to type a long posting before school reopens because i know when it starts i wouldnt have much time to blog again..

Okay, first i'll start with my birthday celebration!! Thanks to all my dearest pals who have celebrated my birthday for me. It's my 21st birthday but i didnt really organize parties like others because i prefer to have small gatherings with different groups of friends. I have met up several groups and have enjoyed myself alot esp. in catching up with them and getting updates in terms of scandals and shocking happenings.. haha.. And i also think that i have eaten alot.. and i mean ALOT during this recess because i've been going out for celebration quite often.. hehe.. i think i dont dare to touch chocolate, cakes, bread, western food for quite some time liao.. keke..

I must really thanks all my very good pals who have given me very thoughtful presents too!!! And now.. i am going to list down names that i'm really greatful of!! haha.. Thanks alot to.. Guilepig, Jean, Xinyi, Siling, Feizi, Liyu, Pei Shan, Chewy, Ah Yun, Kavi, Ah Lim, Kiwi, Mummy, Papa, Korkor, Ah ma, Gu gu, Shu shu, Rhys, Kaiwen, Eng soon, Weiling, Shihui..and many who have sent me greetings.. haha.. Xie xie ni men!!

Now about my gifts!! haha i think i got many nice presents this time round.. and i mean really nice presents.. i really like the bag fei and her bf gave me.. wow.. nice taste lei.. haha.. probably not chosen by feifei?? keke.. and next is kavi's sunflower necklance!! hehe add to my collections of jewellery.. then is 8 princesses' star bracelet.. i love it too and can wear to school le!! and then got cute puppy soft toy too.. long time nv received soft toy liao!! And then got G2000 top!! a special designed one too.. nice nice.. can wear during PA and presentation!! and then got 2 purse!! one pink and one black from 2 pei shan.. haha.. what a coincidence.. oh ya still got nice roses with a bear keke.. although i nv received any roses during valentine's but think this make up for the loss.. hehe.. i hope i didnt miss out any special gifts.. but if i do.. pls pardon me okie?? haha..

Now finally are my thoughts for the recess.. it's almost over and i think i am really kind of sad now.. haha.. because i guess although i am hardworking in appearance but actually a real slacker deep inside.. aiyo.. scary.. afterall this recess has been great becos i 've been going ard celebrating my birthday thus making it more fun-filling. and i also did my homework and projects.. can say that most of them are quite successful except that i still cant balance the accounting spreadsheet.. -_-" next is that i really slept very late for many days.. like 2 to 3 am lor.. haha.. think i msn siao this recess liao.. chatted with many frens online.. quite fun.. and get to know more about their characters and updates and stuffs.. oh and i went MOS too.. drank many strange drinks too.. eeee.. dont like vodka with coke.. but lychee martinee not bad..

I hope that i can have a smooth sailing school life as the school starts again.. and all my frens ard me can stay happy, healthy and looney always!! haha.. and those who are single or desperate ones can get a bf or gf soon.. haha.. esp ah yun ah.. opps!! Jia you!! GO GO GO!!

Finally! I have the time to write this post now.. hehe.. i've just finished my accounting quiz and back from home.. although its kinda hard.. i think last semester one is easier.. but still hope i can pass well!!

It's been a really busy and hectic week this time round especially when i have to cope with projects and learning for the quiz... nevertheless, it's still quite exciting..

Recess starts tml too!! yeah!! i can have my birthday celebration!! so happy =) where are my presents my friends?? haha.. i think recess will be play hard and work hard for me.. cos i need to go out to celebrate birthday and also do projects!! AH!! so much stuff yet so little time.. but i'll manage one!! Go, go, go!!

first of all wanna share abt my life for the past few days during CNY. haha.. i am very happy because i get to do many things i enjoy without any concern or worries abt my school work because i manage to finish all stuffs that is needed before the new year starts. Oh.. anyway i ate alot these few days and i went visiting my ah ma and i feel that this year's new year is a very nice and smooth one.. then i've watched the movie by Jet Li call Fearless with a song composed by Jay Zhou. The movie and the song really complement each other and i like Jay's MTV.

Then i also played mahjong practically almost everyday.. except for the one that i fell sick.. ya i got a serious sore throat and i went to the doctor with extra surcharge of 20 bucks. cant believe that they actually got surcharge for consultation fees just because its CNY time. haiz.. so disappointed with clinics nowadays.. even drinks and food at kopitiam also increase their price.. On the whole if i didnt fall sick i think i would have enjoyed my new year more.. nevertheless, i am still very elated!! Oh i went to "lao yu sheng" too!!

Now about my dinner just now with rain. i suddenly feel like asking someone to have dinner with me haha... so i asked rain because she's the only one who lives near me and she is also coming home ard the same time as me.. well we ate and talk over dinner. the usual topics surround our grp of frens and about boyfriends of course.. haha.. gossip..

anyway the dinner is a nice one because i felt that once awhile when u meet up with yr fren and u talk over certain stuff u feel that there is someone there to listen and talk to.. its a sense of relief from the day to day school work lor.. at least for myself i feel better after the chat.. because i get to learn more things abt myself.. "friends are the best mirror of yourself" this is what i think.. because they are able to tell you what they feel abt you as through the interactions. okay i guess i have to stop here.. wow.. this is my longest post.. i want to thanks my family for giving me a great new year.. they are the best family on earth!! haha.. and thanks to rain too.. always listen to my weird philosophies... hahaha..

Harlo everyone!! It's the Chinese New Year Festival again!! I am so happy.. because i can wear my new clothes finally.. and i can get a break from school.. I cant really get to sleep now maybe its because i am over excited or something.. hehe..

Just want to share things that happen over the week before i go off for a long break to celebrate CNY. Oh well, i went for rehearsal with a guilepig and realised singing is really difficult.. cos there's always notes that i cant reach and i dont really think i'll take part in any audition for performance again.. because pple will judge you critically on your skills and everything but my happiness actually comes from recreational singing at home and in ktv. So i guess after this time performance, i shall only sing at home and in ktv le. Next, i have been trying to balance my accounting case.. haiz.. but to no anvail.. ehh think i spell anvail wrongly.. haha..

Anyway, have a fruitful week this for week 4. Thanks to flying paper i finally understand one of the accounting question. And thanks to friends in school to help out for projects. Happy New Year to everyone!! Hear from you all soon!!

24 hours with 6 hours lying on bed...

Very tiring... from the title u will know that for the past 24hrs i am either standing, walking or sitting up to read my textbooks and do my homework.. oh my!! After today's battle, i am still left with 1 chapter of accounting, 1 chapter of selection and assessment.. haiz.. my back aches.. =(

I really think that i need to spend my time more wisely.. i couldnt finish the chapters because i should have read it during last weekend but i went out on both days and played mahjong too!! really kind of regretted.. but if i never went out i will get moody.. so what shld i do?? any suggestions dear pals??

Anyway, i shall try to finish up these 2 chapters and read up for next week during this weekend!! I want to have a care-free CNY!! Get everything cleared up!!Come'on!! Go, go, go!!

Rainy Days!!

Oh my!! It has been raining cats and dogs for the past few days!! So sad!! Anyone who knows me well will know that i'll feel down if it is raining in the day light. I dont mind if its at night because i am at home and i can get a nice sleep. But the rain is actually made my shopping trip tedious.. haiz.. i hope it doesnt rain for Chinese New Year. Pray hard!

This is week 2 of the semester. Homework is starting to come in and projects are pouring in too!! I hope that i can finish all my projects on time and everything will go smoothly!! Just heard that my friend, Rain, is having a tough time with her timetable and lessons.. wish that she can get modules she like and enjoy her semester despite of the busy schedule. I can understand it feels bad when you know you got a bad timetable and going for classes you dont like, it's simply like forcing one to jump into a icy cold river in the winter.. haha..

First Week of School!!

Yeah!! haha.. I have begun my posting with yeah because i feel that i am feeling better and enjoy school more in this new year and new semester compared to last semester. This time round i get to study only for 3 days and i am in the same classes as my friends maybe that's why i feel more comfortable this time round.

I have attended a couple of lessons and most of them were quite interesting. The tutors are very nice too!! I met some new friends in the seminar class and team project. Hope that all the projects can be smooth sailing. And most important of all i am having a 5 days break starting from today.. haha.. Cheers!! =)

My school will start tomorrow!! Actually i am looking forward to it this new semester, maybe because i hope this semester to be a fulfilling one. I hope i can stay happy-go-lucky and enjoy my lessons. Year 2006 will be a great year for me!!

Well these few days for the start of 2006 January i have been slacking of course.. hehe.. i tried to go around shopping centres and have lunch and dinner with my family. Then i played quite some rounds of mahjong with my family too!! Very fun because i have lost and won some money. Guess i have rounded up year 2005 with shopping spree, games, and catching up with friends.

Okay, guess now i have to go to bed because i need to get up early next morning.. AHHH.. haha.. good night!! ^-^

Dental checkup.. very painful!!

I just went back to school this morning for my dental appointment. Ouch!! It's really painful when the dentist tried to fix my decayed tooth.. and the worse is that i've spent 50 plus dollars for the whole treatment.. Haiz..

After that around noon, i went back home.. ate my lunch and ended up at home for the rest of the day. Not much things to write today.. haha.. so i shall end now..

this is definitely the best holi i have ever experienced. becos i am able to do whatever i want without having any worries or thoughts about doing a part time job. its really a 1 month break for me.. phew.. and yeah!!

i know rest and relax is esp. important for a person like me. i am someone who needs alot of spiritual care. for those very "old" and "more than familiar" friends of mine will understand what i am talking about.

i'll be preparing myself for more goodies to come in the coming weeks. i am travelling to genting!! almost my 2nd home and then i am preparing myself for clubbing and then for the ultimate "grand" and "royal" xmas celebration night festival dinner.. wow... cool name huh~ haha..

i made up the theme and title myself.. those of you looking at the blog and attending the Grand Royal Christmas Festive Celebration Night better dressed up yrself to suit the ball okie? remember we'll be exchanging gifts that day too..

harlo dear friends.. its this festive season again... xmas is coming and our holi have started.. so happie ^-^

today just ate mac breakfast with my friends.. haha fun experience and who really share lotsa gossip and our love values.. haha... so weird... but realised that more or less i'll be the last one the list.. as for what list it is.. i guess the 8 princess know will be fine.. those of you feeling blur.. erm.. sorrie its a secret!!hehe..

hmm this time round i decided not to work for the holi as the holi is only a pathetic short one month.. i better make good use of this period to recharge and rejuvenate for the next sem.. hope it gets better and more fun than this sem..

oh this holi i'll be doing quite a number of stuffs.. like helping my mum out with the usual housework.. then going out with different group of friends and i am always the one planning to get everyone together.. wah liew.. why always me.. haha.. then i'll be going for a vacation too.. yeah!! wanted it long ago.. i wanna get away from this busy and "too familiar" country...

HARLO!! i am back again... after the 2 weeks of sleep, eat, study, and sleep, eat, study... haha... i am finally back to sunshine mode again!! My dear friends.. some of them have already finished exams before me and some are still struggling through... i hope those still working on it to jia you and those who have finished must ask me out okie? i dont wanna spend my holi rotting at home.. hehe.. oh well.. with my friendliness and warming personality sure got lotsa friends will want to ask me out right? haha.. haha..

Oh one more thing, i have to say i will be scolded by my friends.. sorrie about that.. i have already watched harry potter-globet of fire over the wkend mid night show.. haha... paiseh hor.. cos all my family wanna go.. so i have to tag along right? haha... its really a great movie i feel its better than the second one.. but i still love the first one... however the movie is really long.. 2 hours plus.. oh my.. i only manage to reach home at 2.40am lor.. haha... this time round there are more effects and the plot is more thrilling.. hope all of you can enjoy the film and also i wanna see the chicken little.. ask me out to watch okay? haha...

harlo to those who have been reading my postings all along... haha sorry that i took a long time to have this latest new post again. It is really difficult for me to find time to sit down infront of the computer to type this post... think i better jump stright into my point.

I just had my com and ben interview.. its kind of scary and intimidating but i think i managed to get pass the questions fairly well. and i think i only answered two questions.. i wonder why its so fast for my turn... is it because i look very pretty so they let me off?? haha... oh well.. just one regret about not sitting very straight and upright... cos one of the interviewer told me after the interview.. she said i am tall so need to sit even more upright to show my poise.. hmm.. okiee think l'll improve on my postures and everything...

Anyway the thing is over and i think i have to go and do another project now... haiz.. so sad...

PS:i love my professional look... yeah with blazer... hehe =P

harlo to all... i am feeling better after seeing so much encouragement from my close friends... i really appreciated that.. i am now in my school lab and its 5 mins time from my next lesson..

I know that i have to make use of time effectively so have to get this new posting done within 2 mins?? oh my, haha because i dont really have time to post at home.. its really busy in school... and holi is over just in a blink of an eye.. yucks.!!

oh and to update my pals... i have just gotten a hair cut last saturday.. felt much lighter and refresh after that.. and met my stylist again. haha.. she is going overseas soon.. envy her... when she's back think i am starting my exams soon.. oh no!! and oh ya yesterday was mid autumn festival ate some moon cakes.. really delicious...

and the meet up with gillian on saturday is really fun because we get to crap alot!! must call me sometime okay?? think i have to go now... i dont want to get scolded by my tutor.. bye and take care to all my dear friends...!!

My first audition!!

Harlo everyone.. for those who have been reading my post will know that i have mentioned about joining a singing club.. hehe.. today is the day which my group members and i perform for an audition on mooncake festival... guess what.. kent, sharon, geraldine,jaslyn and me sang "lao shu ai da mi".. haha..

Although we didnt win the audition but somehow we have an experience in singing in front of many people. I know all of us has put in our best effort and must thank kent who came and help out although he is not in the club.

I also learnt about how to "warm up" my voice before singing and the rules that one should not eat half an hour before any performance.. haha.. but geraldine still ate a chao siew bao with green tea... haha..

Oh one more important thing, i finally.. haha.. went for the individual audition.. thanks to sharon and geraldine.. at first we didnt think of going until we took 179 out of NTU then decided to take a bus back to the school again for the audition!! very ludicrous right?! but we really did that.. and have to thank both of them for giving me the courage and chance to go for the audition...

Eh.. i must say its very scary yet a great experience for me.. i tried to give my best shot.. haha.. but i still cant beat my nervousness.. thus didnt really sing very well.. however the judges did say i sing quite well just that i need to be more confident and natural.. i guess i will do much better next time after more training and in-class performance..

I know most probably i wont get into the mooncake festival performance because of my nervousness but i hope to perform for my friends next time if there's other opportunities.. well.. lets hope that another audition will come up soon.. and guess by that time l'll be ready to sing freely.. hehe...

recently i just fell sick.. sad ah.. i realise its my own fault for eating too much heaty stuff and not drinking much water.. i really regreted eating those stuff when i realise being ill is really a torture esp. when you are going to school 5 days a week.. and have to speak up for almost all classes...

whats worse its that i have to go for cca.. haha.. how can i sing with my sore throat?? well i manage to sing a sentence "kan wo qi shi er bian"... for those wondering why i am singing this its because of a game we played during cca.. oh well.. its really quite fun experience.. hehe.. although i am sick and had a bad stomache earlier...

what can i say?? the most important thing is to keep yourself fit and healthy so that you can enjoy other events and activities to the fullest.. i promise myself to take good care of myself and my throat esp. so i can chat and sing... lalala~ haha... hope i can get well very soon and have a great coming week!!

Harlo to all!! It's been about 2 weeks since school reopens.. experience abit of discomfort at first but now i think i am getting better as i learn to adapt to people and environment around me.

Oh i wanna say happy birthday to S'pore!! haha because its 2 days to National Day!! Although i must admit i seldom watch the NDP but still got tune in the last part on fireworks.. hehe...

Yawnz.. just happen to finish my assignment.. now feeling really tire and very regret that i ate bread and biscuits just now for supper.. haiz... fats growing again... NOOOOOOOOOO...

Hope the coming week will be fun and fulfilling.. Wish that my singing activity starts next wk too!!

Harlo to all my friends who have been reading my blog. I am really touch after seeing that many of you actually gave me ideas on how to spice up my life in uni and i am highly appreciated for those encouraging words.. hehe

Here is a piece of good news.. After 2 days of school, i realised that i am back to my old self again.. yeah!! sunshine me!! I AM BACK!! Maybe there's something finally there for me to get busy again.. i've got 2 presentations next week and hope i can do well in both.. not to shiver anymore.. Anyone has any secret recipes to cure stage fright?? Pls tag for me.. haha..

I've also joined the chinese society singing club!! yeah!! finally my wish is coming true.. i am one more step closer to my superstar dream.. hehe although i am still quite far away..

Oh.. and i am very sad over xie wei choong's elimination.. haiz.. i havent even shown my support yet and he is out of the competition.. i should have called earlier.. Well anyway, i think that he has learnt quite alot of things from the show and met many friends too. Hope that he can get over it soon as there are space of improvements and many other great chances outside too.. All the best in whatever you do in future!! Jia you!! (Even though he wont see my msg, i still feel like posting.. hehe..)

Time really flies.. 3 months of holidays are over in a blink of an eye.. On the whole i think that i've a fruitful holiday..
1) Took up a holiday lesson to clear off my AUs
2) Had a part time job to earn some extra allowances for new textbooks
3) Met up with many friends and had fun times
4) Shopping spree because of GSS
5) Lazed around at home (definitely a must during holidays)
6) Rebonded my hair
7) Other events which i might have left out.. haha.. =P

Finally a chance to rest..

I've been working consecutively for about 12 days and i slept only about 6hrs per day.. oh my.. i am really proud of myself.. haha..

Finally after working for 3 weeks plus, i've officially ended my part time job today. It's really a great experience to me as i learnt quite a number of things from my colleagues on organising events and conferences.

The most exciting part was the last week when in suntec.. I get to see different types of delegates and how to manage some really nasty ones who dont feel like paying for the conference.. haha..

Oh! And i have met quite a number of intriguing and fun pals over at suntec.. hehe.. the most happening is to know one of the part timers is my secondary school seniors.. wow.. thats really cool~

It's getting late.. think i better go sleep now... hope that i can really enjoy myself for the coming 2 weeks before school reopens... =)

My new hairstyle!!

Oh my! I realised that it has been a long time since i last wrote a posting.. haha.. maybe its because of the busy part time job i am doing currently..

I just went to Chapter 2 for rebonding and haircut. I am really looking forward to a brand new style because seems like everyone are praising the hair stylist there.. I went to the salon last sunday and i was all alone.. haha.. actually have planned to go with my friends but because of my job i can't really spare time to visit the salon with them on the same day.. However i still manage to find the place on my own.. hehe.. i feel that i am rather good at directions too!!

Oh i really like the stylists who did my rebonding and haircut.. They are very friendly and the air con there was really cold.. It took me about 4 hours in total i think. At the end of the day i found out that actually i am the same old brand new me.. haha.. rebonding people all look the same to me.. oh well at least i get some fringe at the front.. not so bad... =)

okie i shall now turn in bed... its really tiring doing events stuff as part time job.. busy week coming up...

My New Job...

Today is the third working day of my part-time job. At first I thought that it will be a boring admin job but who knows it turn out to be really quite fun. All my colleagues are very friendly and if I have any doubts I could ask them directly.

Although the place is pretty far, which is in NUS.. But I don't really mind about the distance because its really tough to find a part-time job at this time. Needless to mention about meeting nice colleagues and to work in a comfortable environment. Anyway, the travelling time is about the same as my study trip so it is not much of a bother to me..

I feel that everytime when I take up a job I can really learn some new stuffs or at least know how people actually plan and do things which are very beneficial. On the whole, I enjoy doing my current part-time job and look forward to more interesting and fun tasks! =)

A Month of Tough and Joy...

Last Friday was the last day to the School of Communication. I still can remember the day when A, Fz and me went to school on the first day. We thought that the web design class would be fun because all we have to do is to learn about designing web sites and what's so difficult about it?? On the first day of our class, we had to group ourselves in group of 4 and this was how we met our "shy" team mate -- K.

Oh well, the first few lessons were rather relaxing but when all the assignments came in, we started to realise it wasnt really that fun afterall because due to lack of programmes, Fz and i have to come to school often to complete our projects. At first, 3 of us gals wasnt really familliar with K, except for A, haha..., who was the first to start up a friendly conversation with K.

I wondered if it was the tough final project that pulled us together. We seemed to know each other better towards almost the end of the holiday lessons. I realised that it was really a coincidence to know K who was Fz and my rivals in the CO SYF. I am glad to know a couples of new friends in the class. Especially those in my group.

A is a happy-go-lucky and friendly gal who likes to sing "ting hai". Fz... hmm... known her for so many years... nothing to mention... except that she is being praised to have a nice smile by K. And K... is a lame.. down-to-earth... online game and anime lover. Okie, think thats all i have to say... and sadly... i have lost my title of sunshine smile due to an uncle in the group who said that Fz got a nice smile... haha... think i am getting old??

Finally the project is over.. Hope all of us can get satisfactory grades ok? All the best to everyone's upcoming semester~!! Miss ya all...

It's the first and will be the last...

I just went clubbing for the first time yesterday night somewhere in orchard. Oh my, it was really a total different experience for me. I thought that it would be a fun place as seen on some TV serials or movies but it actually turn out to be rather spooky for me..

I went to the club with my friends. Four of us went to 2 clubs and it could be seen that they were totally different in terms of the age of customers and the music they were playing. The first impression that came across my mind when i stepped in was that it was really dark inside, i even tripped a couple of times trying to grope inside.. haha.. Oh well next was my sense of smell, which i really didnt like it -- smell of smoke. It might smell really bad at first but once you were there more than 5 minutes you would get used to it. Next is on the drink. It was free flow and my friend drank almost 10 cups. Of course i drank a cup.. haha... it was ribena plus vodka which tasted bitter and sweet. I felt extremely full after one glass and that was enough..

People inside were really very impressive in terms of their courage to dance infront of so many strangers.. There were many weird people in there too.. Especially some scary guys who would talk to you when you were sitting alone in a corner... Eeeeee.... Very scary.... I was really glad that i never bring my friend FZ to the club. After this trip, i realised she will definitely dislike the place and scold me if i have brought her there... haha... phew~

Oh well, at least i had learnt something. The culture of clubbing..I think i am someone who really cannot fit into such special environment. I still love my home sweet home in the night. I felt better to sleep early in my comfy room. The club is too noisy, smoky and scary to me.. haha.. or am i just too timid!? Last point, my clothes and my hair were really stinky with smoke and i really could not stand it.. Immediately, i went for a bath and sinked into my comfy bed for a brighter morning the next day~!

PS: No more clubbing... haha =P

My Boyfriend is Type B..

Finally found some time to write my thoughts about this movie -- My Boyfriend is Type B. This is a korean movie starring Lee dong-gun and Han ji-hye(well known for being the best couple in "Bride 18"). The movie is about a young lady who falls in love with a guy who has a blood type B. The guy is very romantic and sweet but can also be mean and selfish sometimes, maybe because of his blood type that affects his personality and character. Basically, the whole movie tries to portray how a type A girl and type B guy get along with each other, there are scenes which are really warming and those that are heartbreaking. However, its actually a love comedy. So, those who wants to have a good laugh and feel the touching romance between the 2 actors should catch the movie~!

I went to a watch the movie last Sunday with my mum.. haha..This is because we are both great fans of Lee dong-gun and Han ji-hye. They really look good and compatible with each other whether in "Bride 18" or "My Boyfriend is Type B". There are also various rumors about them being a real life couple.. I wonder if the rumors are true.. If they are really a couple, i will feel very happy for them and wish that they can find their happiness!!

Life is full of choices..

It's time for me to make a choice again... Dont you all realise that we are always making decisions in our lives?? Well for me... i have been making major choices since secondary school... which subjects to study for upper secondary, then it was about which JC to go to... Because of my friends i decided to go to AJC.... then as for Uni... oh well.... i can say that its fate that brought me to NTU... although i felt kinda regretted.. but things are all set and Year 1 has past.... so... i've got to move on....

Anyway life at biz wasnt very bad actually... oh ya... almost digress from the main topic of the day... i have just made my choice to go for specialisation in HR... hope that my choice is right... for my personality, my career and my happiness.... to be able to work with passion is very important in this extremely competitive 21st century(something i learnt from career management course). I wish that my friends can also get into their favourite choices and have a great Year 2/3 experience in the new falculty. =)

Star Wars

Guess what, i had a really bad headache yesterday and i can't even move a muscle. I had a long day at school and this pain started haunting me when class was about to end. It followed me till i got back home and each pace i took, it just increased the pain i had in my brain. I finally ate a pill and went to bed. Now, i am feeling better after a tire and painful sleep last night.

Besides yesterday, i also want to share about the trip on monday. And.. haha... i actually went to bugis instead of orchard... i went to watch the movie "Star Wars Episode III"... i thought i wouldn't like it but... who knows... i have to admit that one should never make any conclusion whether you like something or not before you even try it.... I have to say that the movie is really a nice one... Besides the sophisticated graphics, there is also a great storyline. I wonder if the story for this episode is being written long time ago or is it only written now by the director. Can anyone who knows this, please give me an answer.... thanks alot... One thing i am really proud of is that i can actually understand the whole story of "Star Wars", a show that i once thought i wouldnt understand.. hehe... one more point to add...the actor who acted as anakin skywalker is really handsome and cool~ haha... hope to watch more great movies..

Hi to those who are reading! I am about to travel to my favourite hangout-- orchard road. Before i go i just feel like sharing my thoughts. I am now listening to a song by News call Cherish. It is one of the reason why i decided to change my blog site to "chrishall". Thanks to AL who sent me this great song! I feel that i have been taking some of the things in my life for granted. I wonder why i suddenly have a strong feeling to learn to cherish everything around me... my friends... my family.. events happening in my life... although it may be a little late to start appreciating some things right now, but i know its at least better than not knowing how to... And of course haha... felt great to see my first comment from Gillian... thanks for practising English skill with me... really needed that... hope we can continue the habit.
